I started Tommy’s because I was homesick. 

After three years in London, I missed the Big, Beautiful Sandwiches from America. If you've ever been there, you know what I mean: submarine style, piled high with meat, fresh veggies and plenty of sauce.

My love for sandwiches began at 15 in Olympia, Washington, working as a Subway sandwich artist. I quickly moved from making sandwiches to managing shops. I loved the hustle and bustle of it all, talking to strangers and hanging out with my coworkers. 

I learned the ins and outs of running a sandwich shop and a lot about life growing up at Subway.

Since then, sandwiches have been a trusty companion, from school lunches and work breaks to picnics and road trips. Sandwiches are the perfect sidekick for all of life's adventures.

Tommy’s Sandwiches is my way of charting my own path, adding texture to life with sandwiches and sharing a little bit of home with the world.
