About the Role

As Team Leader, you’ll run shifts, open and/or close the shop, and lead by example on the line. You’ll keep standards high, energy up, and guests happy. You’ll help train and develop the team and make sure every sandwich and every interaction feels like Tommy’s.

If you’re ambitious, this is a launchpad. The right person can step into Store Manager within 6–12 months.

What You’ll Do

  • Run smooth, high-energy shifts and motivate the team

  • Deliver an awesome experience and resolve guest issues quickly

  • Master every station: prep, griddle, sandwich line, till, and bread

  • Open and close the shop confidently and independently

  • Represent Tommy’s and make every guest feel welcome

What You Bring

  • 1+ year of hospitality or food service experience

  • Reliable, calm under pressure, and confident leading others

  • The kind of person who cleans up before being asked

  • A love of great food and great service

  • Ambition. You're here to grow into management.

What You Get

Requirements

  • Legally eligible to work in the UK

  • Able to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 10kg

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • 5 days of availability per week (we’re open 7:30am–7:30pm, slightly shorter hours on weekends)
